This article is a basic guide to changing usernames and/or passwords for your website.

TO CHANGE YOUR OWN USER DETAILS

1. Go to the user page on your website by typing in your domain name followed by '/user' e.g. www.example.com/user

• Once you are on this page it is a good idea to add the page to your Favourites/Bookmarks for future use
• You can set your browser to remember your password - this is not a good idea if you are using a computer that is used by people other than yourself

2. Enter your username (if you've forgotten your user details, follow the 'HOW TO RESET YOUR PASSWORD' instructions below

3. Choose the 'Request new password' tab

4. Enter your email address and choose 'Email new password'

5. Find the email that's sent to your Inbox (or your Spam/Junk folder if there's nothing in your Inbox), and click on the link in the email to reset your password

HOW TO UPDATE USER DETAILS FOR ANOTHER ACCOUNT ON YOUR WEBSITE

1. Go to the login page for your website by entering your domain name followed by '/user' eg. www.example.com/user

2. Enter your username and password and choose 'Login'

3. Choose the 'People' button from the menu at the top of your page

• If you don't have a 'People' button at the top of your page, either ask the other user to request a new password themselves, or contact us to update/remove the account

4. Find the account you'd like to change the username and/or password for and choose 'Edit' next to it

5. Under 'Login Details', enter a new username and/or password

• If you're changing the password, make sure to enter it a second time in the 'Confrim Password' box

6. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and choose 'Save'
