Add Klixo to your Webmail Contacts

Summary

Some emails sent by the Klixo Website Manager to Xtra email addresses are being moved to the Spam folder. This may include Form-to-mail messages from your website. This is due to a problem with Xtra's email servers. We have contacted Xtra to get them to fix the problem, but in the meantime, please take the following actions to ensure that you receive important email from your website:

  1. Regularly check the Forms list in the Klixo Website Manager
  2. Login to Xtra Webmail and check your Spam folder. Mark any messages from Klixo or your website as "Not Spam"
  3. Go through each message should not have been marked as Spam and add the sender to your contacts list
  4. Consider changing your email service provider

Overview

Xtra use an American company called Yahoo! as their email provider and their email system (called "Yahoo!Xtra") is incorrectly marking emails sent from the Klixo web server as Spam. Obviously emails sent from Klixo are not spam; there is a problem with the Yahoo!Xtra email system. We have contacted Yahoo!Xtra in an attempt to get this problem sorted out.

Malfunctioning anti-spam systems are frustrating and all too common. If you answer yes to any of the following questions, talk to us about upgrading to our Corporate Email hosting account:

  • I get five or more spam emails per day
  • I sometimes don't receive emails that I know have been sent to me
  • I sometimes have emails marked as "[SPAM]" in the subject field that aren't spam
  • I sometimes find emails in the Spam or Junkmail folder that aren't Spam
